Client-Focused Animal Care For Our Furred, Scaled, and Feathered Friends

At North Bay Animal Hospital, you can trust that your pets are receiving the most specialized care possible. Our veterinary team is willing to go the extra mile to make sure that your furry babies feel more comfortable, and right at home.

Our practice works hard to serve as many pets as possible, but it isn’t just a conveyor belt of cats, dogs, and exotic animals. We won’t send you out the door with your pet until we feel we’ve made every effort to ensure your pet has been given the best care possible and has been started on a path towards better pet health.

We are American Animal Hospital Association accredited, so you can trust that we prioritize both excellence in patient and client care. At the heart of it, AAHA accreditation is about following the best practices and standards in the industry, keeping ourselves educated and up-to-date on all new veterinary medical guidelines is the best medicine.

We know that a visit to the vet can be stressful for your animal, which is why we have dedicated much of our training to ensure we can offer a veterinary experience that you and your pet enjoy. Part of that includes being Certified Cat Friendly, so that your feline friends feel welcome and looked after at our practice.

Enjoying a visit to the vet? Is that even possible?

We like to think so! We want you and your pet to feel at home from the moment you step inside our clinic, everyone is greeted with a smile, try to know everyone who is coming in. If it’s a new client, we’ll try and match the pet to their time to greet them by name. Under normal circumstances, we have cookies for people and treats for pets.

Cat lovers will be happy to know we have a cat-only entrance, waiting room, and treatment area, so that along with pheromone spray and a lot of love, your feline friend will have the opportunity for a stress-free visit.

One of the things that make us different is that our veterinarians are the very first people you and your pet will see. We want to introduce ourselves and go over the treatment plan immediately, right from the very beginning. We highly value the relationship we have with our clients, so we’ve made ourselves readily available whenever we’re needed.

We are also pleased to offer $50 off the first wellness visit for all new clients.

Don’t take our word for it,
here are some of our reviews!
I love the fact that they show a lot of care for the customer as well as your loved ones. Had I listened to another veterinarian my loved one would have been dead. Northbay Animal Hospital knew the urgency and responded swiftly. In 24 hours my dog Spot was feeling 95% better. In 48 hours he was back to his old self thanks to Dr. Peters and her team.
This evening my sweet cat, Lilly, woke up from a nap with a swollen eye and I could tell it was really irritating her. I called North Bay Animal Hospital in hopes to get her in right away. The veterinarian was fully booked but was kind enough to squeeze her in. He not only examined her eye but he also offered to give Lilly her annual vaccinations since she was already there, to save us a future trip. With the current national pandemic going on, they had curbside service which gave me confidence that the North Bay Animal Hospital team is following guidelines and ensuring all the animals, owners, and team are kept safe. Thank you!
I am extremely pleased with Northbay Animal Hospital. The doctors are very knowledgeable and super responsive. The team in the office are very friendly and organized. They sign you in promptly and always make sure you understand the bill. My dog has been boarded there several times and I have never had any issues.
