Vaccinations & Wellness Care

We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in early detection and wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners.  We offer comprehensive pet vaccination and wellness care plans.

Annual and semi-annual health plans are individualized for our patients, because not all pets have the same needs. Our annual and semi annual health plans are designed specifically for your pet based on age, breed, weight, lifestyle and travel habits as well as genetic predisposition to disease. Screening for heart disease diabetes, high blood pressure and kidney disease are just a few things that are included in our plans. Also, antibody titers can be performed to determine whether your pet should be vaccinated each year. These titers are also an excellent solution to pets that have reactions to vaccines.

Senior/Super Senior Early Detection

Senior/Super Senior Pet Care Level 3

Older pets are prone to disease in virtually every part of their bodies as the result of age-related degenerative changes. Although the signs of some problems may be obvious and many can be revealed by a veterinarian’s thorough examination, others can only be detected through laboratory testing. For geriatric pets, we strongly recommend blood and urine testing in conjunction with the comprehensive veterinary examination included in the annual health program. The forty-one blood tests provides valuable information regarding the following conditions: kidney and bladder disease including kidney failure, infection, stones and cancer; Diabetes Mellitus; liver disease; pancreatic disease; muscle disease; Thyroid Hormone Level; Electrolyte Levels, Red Blood Cell Disorders including Anemia; White blood cell abnormalities including infection, Leukemia and stress; blood protein abnormalities including dehydration, protein losing disorder and cancer; some endocrine (hormone) disease.
