Dr. Andrea Peters was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Florida State University. During her undergraduate studies, Dr. Peters received the Moellership Scholarship which funded travels to Thailand for six weeks to volunteer at an elephant village and to Ecuador for six weeks to volunteer at a low cost small animal surgery clinic. She received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University in 2018. She was awarded a scholarship from Zoetis to pursue a minor in Business from The Ohio State Fisher College of Business. Dr. Peters received an additional certificate in business through The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded the Simmons Educational Fund Regional Business Aptitude Award.
Dr. Peter’s professional interests include surgery, cardiology, and dermatology, as well as furthering her training in ultrasound and endoscopy diagnostics.
Dr. Peters and her husband, who is also a veterinarian and part of the Tampa Bay Vets Team at All Creatures Veterinary Hospital, moved to Tampa in 2018. They share their home with their two dogs, Doak and Nolan. In their spare time Dr. Peters likes traveling, working out, trying out new restaurants and watching Seminole football. GO NOLES!
