Dr. Marrazzo has been involved in veterinary medicine since she was 2 weeks old when she attended her father’s graduation ceremony at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. Since then, her life has been a journey of living with, learning about, caring for animals, and ultimately graduating from the same veterinary college as her father, GO GATORS!
During her time in veterinary school, Dr. Marrazzo deliberately chose to expose herself to a wide range of experiences to better prepare her for small animal practice. She held leadership positions in various student organizations including surgery, companion animal medicine, Students for International Veterinary Opportunities, the Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association, The Animal Rescue Response Team, and also served as a teaching assistant to other veterinary students in patient care and clinical skills.
She received numerous awards and certifications in veterinary school including Fear Free Practice Certification, Clinical Small Animal Dentistry Certification, Operations Level Animal Technical Rescue Certification, Veterinary Business Management Certificate, Feline Friendly Handling Certification, Small Animal Clinical Proficiency Award, Zoetis Academic Excellence and Leadership Award, and the Bayer Excellence in Communication Award.
Dr. Marrazzo’s professional interests include surgery, internal medicine, and diagnostic imaging such as radiology and ultrasonography. She possesses a deeply held goal to give her patients the best possible care, and their people the best possible advice. Her long term goal is to become Board Certified in Canine and Feline Practice. In her spare time, Dr. Marrazzo enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, crafting, and traveling.
Dr. Marrazzo’s family include her fiancé, who is in also in the veterinary field, and her three fur babies Gilly (terrier mix), and two cats Eli and Zoey.
