Cahoon’s Veterinary Externship Program

We are happy to team up with Cahoon Elementary Magnet School of Animal Science Gifted and Talent Development to give the opportunity to authentically engage students in real-world experiences directly connected to Animal Science! This is the start of a series of “behind the scenes” visits to our Veterinary Hospitals; sponsored by tampabayvets.net, where students observe veterinarians and technicians providing medical care for patients.

We are excited to build another great community partnership that supports School Improvement Goal to increase student engagement through differentiated instructional strategies that involves all stakeholders; students, parents, and community partners!
