Happy Tails: The Story of Daphne

Daphne is a very sweet dog who’s owner, Amanda, is a team member at one of our sister hospitals. Daphne had developed some Mast Cell tumors and was brought to All Creatures Animal Hospital for mass removals.

According to Amanda, “Dr. Wilkinson performed a double mass removal for Daphne. She was very thorough with explaining things to me and discussing our options. She also took x-rays prior to surgery to ensure there wasn’t anything else going on that we couldn’t obviously see or sample from the masses. She kept in touch with me all throughout the day of her procedure and x-rays. This gave me such peace of mind. I can’t thank her enough for taking care of my Daphne.”

As for an update on Daphne, Amanda states that “She is doing great! You wouldn’t even know that she had surgery. She bounced back after about 48 hours and is acting like a young pup again.”
