Compassionate Care for the Valrico Community
Noah’s Ark Animal Hospital is rooted in the commitment we have to our clients and their pets. Founded by Dr. Sharon Hunter more than 30 years ago, our whole approach is centered on a simple philosophy: treat every pet as if they were our own and every client like family.
While we are proud of our experienced team and the expanded resources we can now offer as part of Tampa Bay Animal Hospitals, we are most proud of the lasting relationships we have built with generations of Valrico families.
It is this respect and compassion that guides everything we do and is the cornerstone of every decision we make.
Noah’s Ark Animal Hospital is conveniently located at 4338 Bell Shoals Road in Valrico, Florida.
Quality Care Starts With Us
Noah’s Ark Animal Hospital has proudly served Valrico and the surrounding Brandon, Lithia, and Riverview communities for more than 30 years. Delivering that care takes a high-functioning veterinary team that communicates well, is cohesive, and is cross-trained, so there’s a shared understanding of what happens at every level of your pet’s visit rather than a disjointed view. This means more eyes and ears on patients at every step.
The more the team overlaps and understands each other’s roles, the better off our patients and clients are — and the more likely we are to catch something when it matters.
Our team is proud of the level of client service we deliver to the pet owners of Valrico and the greater Brandon area. There’s a distinct difference in coming to Noah’s Ark, whether it’s the moment you walk through the door or the moment you give us a call. We strive to push the standard of veterinary care well above average and do all we can to go above and beyond.
The first thing you’ll notice is our emphasis on client service and veterinary care. We believe both must be nothing short of excellent. When you bring your pet to Noah’s Ark Animal Hospital and see the authentic love, care, and concern we have for all animals, you’ll understand why Valrico families have trusted us with their pets for generations. Client service is our first line of compassionate veterinary medical care, and we take it seriously.
We ensure this level of care through recruiting, continuing education, and team development — everything that goes into our practice. We know this goes further than taking care of animals. By taking care of your pets, we know we’re taking care of people, too.
Founded by Dr. Sharon Hunter, a University of Florida graduate, Noah’s Ark stays on top of the latest advances in veterinary medicine while never forgetting that every animal deserves loving care at every check-up, procedure, or surgery. As part of the Tampa Bay Animal Hospitals family, we’re now able to offer expanded resources and expertise while keeping the personalized, hometown feel our clients know and love. We can’t wait to help you and your pets.
Our veterinary team members strive to meet and exceed the needs of every client and pet that visits us.
Dr. Sharon Hunter, a University of Florida graduate, has cared for Valrico pets for more than 30 years, and Dr. Madison Bajc brings a strong clinical foundation with special interests in soft tissue surgery, dentistry, preventive medicine, and exotic pets.
The Veterinary Care Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable foundation created for the specific purpose of helping veterinary practices fund the discounted and no charge care they generously provide to hardship cases, rescue groups or as good Samaritans.
Unlike other veterinary charities, 100% of every contribution to the Veterinary Care Foundation and its member practices go directly to improving the quality of life of pets and their people; all Foundation operating expenses are met by membership dues paid by veterinarians.
We make it easy for clients to donate, and all donations are tax-deductible. The foundation’s criteria for use of donated funds include such situations as:
- Good Samaritan cases
- Owners experiencing a financial crisis
- Elderly clients facing financial issues
- CareCredit denied clients
- Support for local service animals
- Local disaster relief
It’s about accessibility: we want to help animals find care, even when their owners can’t afford it. For more info, to donate, or to apply, click here.
