Homemade Treats For Your Pet
Show your pet some love this month with some very simple recipes for homemade treats!
Does your dog love peanut butter? Be sure your pet is not allergic to any of these ingredients before serving them. You’ll need 2 cups of flour, 2 eggs, and a half a cup of peanut butter. Mix together and splash in water as needed to make a dough. Roll out and use a cute cookie cutter to create shapes that look just like your pooch. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. IMPORTANT: Be sure to to avoid peanut butter with artificial sweeteners like Xylitol. (read more)
Does your cat love cheese? Be sure your cat is not allergic to any of these ingredients before serving them. You’ll need ¾ cup of whole wheat flour, one cup of shredded cheese (your cat’s choice), ¼ cup vanilla yogurt and mix together. Splash in water to loosen like a dough. With a corn starch sprinkled pan, roll out dough like a pizza. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees. Cut once cooled into little squares with a pizza cutter.
