Why did you choose to become a veterinarian?
I have always wanted to become a veterinarian. My grandfather practiced veterinary medicine for over 50 years, so at an early age I was exposed to the joys and fulfillment this career provides. My favorite part of practicing veterinary medicine is being challenged to seek out the right answers and provide support to clients through both the good and hard times with their pets.
What is your goal walking into every patient visit?
I want my clients and their pets to feel calm, comfortable, and to know that I will always do my best to be an advocate for them.
Do you have a mantra or philosophy that you live by?
I try to always treat people the way I would want to be treated. I believe this translates well into veterinary medicine. I aspire to recommend the same treatment plan that I would want for my own pets.
Who makes up your family (pets and/or people)?
Chris the Husband, Jeffrey the Pomeranian, Pebbles the Chihuahua, and Mary Frances the Treeing Walker Hound
What do your pets mean to you?
My pets are everything. They keep me warm when the house is too cold, they cheer me up when I am tired, they make me laugh when I am too serious, and they show me unconditional love. They have inspired me to create more animal accents for my patients.
Please tell us anything else about yourself:
I am originally from the beautiful state of Louisiana, so my craving for warm weather, delicious food, and friendly people runs deep. I truly believe that every meal tastes better with the addition of cheesy grits. I love watching football even when it frustrates me. When not working, watching sports, or eating brunch, I enjoy being out in the great outdoors. Whether it is hiking, beaching, or kayaking, my happiest moments are spent enjoying nature with my loved ones.

Dr. Sinclair is one the newest additions to our team of Veterinarians, and we could not be more excited to have her in our family. She loves medicine and Science, but did not want to work on the human side. Her dad knew how much she loved animals and he suggested that she try Veterinary medicine, and she has not looked back since. She spent some time volunteering in an animal clinic and she just knew this was the perfect career for her.
Her goal is to always help her patients and their families find a plan for care that works for all of them, to understand their concerns, and to send each patient home with a treatment plan in place and any pain and suffering under control.
Dr. Sinclair grew up in California and moved to Florida from Australia (Vet school) to pursue an internship. She quickly discovered her love for Emergency medicine, and especially critical patients. After years of working in 24/7 critical care for the sickest patients, she decided to take a step back to start a family. Her passion remains in critical care and providing care the ones who need it most. She and her husband share their home with their two children, their dog (Willy), and their two litter mate cats (Samson and Delilah).
Animals and pets mean so much to Dr. Sinclair. She believes they share the purest form of love.
Her mantra in life is sweet and simple: “Be kind”
