Why did you choose to become a veterinarian?
I have always wanted to become a veterinarian. My grandfather practiced veterinary medicine for over 50 years, so at an early age I was exposed to the joys and fulfillment this career provides. My favorite part of practicing veterinary medicine is being challenged to seek out the right answers and provide support to clients through both the good and hard times with their pets.
What is your goal walking into every patient visit?
I want my clients and their pets to feel calm, comfortable, and to know that I will always do my best to be an advocate for them.
Do you have a mantra or philosophy that you live by?
I try to always treat people the way I would want to be treated. I believe this translates well into veterinary medicine. I aspire to recommend the same treatment plan that I would want for my own pets.
Who makes up your family (pets and/or people)?
Chris the Husband, Jeffrey the Pomeranian, Pebbles the Chihuahua, and Mary Frances the Treeing Walker Hound
What do your pets mean to you?
My pets are everything. They keep me warm when the house is too cold, they cheer me up when I am tired, they make me laugh when I am too serious, and they show me unconditional love. They have inspired me to create more animal accents for my patients.
Please tell us anything else about yourself:
I am originally from the beautiful state of Louisiana, so my craving for warm weather, delicious food, and friendly people runs deep. I truly believe that every meal tastes better with the addition of cheesy grits. I love watching football even when it frustrates me. When not working, watching sports, or eating brunch, I enjoy being out in the great outdoors. Whether it is hiking, beaching, or kayaking, my happiest moments are spent enjoying nature with my loved ones.
Degrees:
• B.S. in Biochemistry
• D.V.M. from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine
Why did you choose to become a veterinarian?

What is your goal walking into every patient visit?
To make the patient and client feel comfortable, informed, and that the clients’ pets are in knowledgeable and capable hands with me to provide the best medical care that I possibly can each visit.
Do you have a mantra or philosophy that you live by?
Treat all creatures and all people with love, respect, and kindness. Never give up on your goals.

Titan means the world to Dr. Wright. He is full of energy and is a wild child who is a total daddy’s boy.
Dr. Wright’s goal when walking into every visit with a patient is to have a positive impact on both the patient’s and client’s lives. Her philosophy she lives by is to focus more on what brings you joy rather than what soothes your fear.
