My bun is a feisty little thing and is hard to groom. Do you offer rabbit nail clippings and anal scent gland cleaning services? If so what do you charge?

Hi, I certainly understand that wiggly buns can be a challenge to groom at home from personal experience! We certainly can trim nails and clean out the scent glands if needed (although often the rabbits groom this area ok on their own). We always want to ensure that we are providing the best and safest care possible for our patients and unfortunately, rabbits and other small exotics are very good at masking diseases. We therefore recommend that your bunny be examined by one of our rabbit-savvy veterinarians to ensure that he is healthy and happy once a year (cost is $56). If he is otherwise healthy, he can have a discounted nail trim (and scent gland clean if needed) for $11 at the time of the exam. For the next year, we are happy to schedule technician grooming appointments without a doctor exam if he is doing well (nail trim/cleaning is $16).
