My bunny has a circular scar on his right side, could it just be a bite mark from other bunnies — we left him with a friend to “bunny”sit and she has other bunnies — or could it be something serious? How can i treat it?

There are several conditions that could result in a circular hairless area including trauma, bacterial skin infection,fungal skin infection (ringworm),and mites, among others. A physical examination, likely with some further skin diagnostics is advised to diagnose your bunny’s condition and determine the best treatment. At home treatment without a diagnosis is not advised.
